It’s Been a While

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I have been preoccupied with a number of things which include –but not limited to– school, work, schoolwork, and other odds and ends. While my personal writing has suffered throughout this season, I have the opportunity to work on an intense project for the next six or seven months.

It’s called the 741experiment. It was a brain-child of a friend of mine from college to have four people read the Bible through in seven months and blog every day on the insights God reveals to them.

While this project has me reading six to eight chapters a day as well as writing anywhere from 200-400 words a day, I miss writing the longer, more substantive posts that really delve into what God is teaching me. I have five half-finished or preliminary ideas sitting in the drafts box right now. I just do not have time to write to the extent that I would like.

I would encourage everyone to check back once a week just to see if there is –by an outside chance– something new, but don’t hold your breath.

I would also encourage everyone to check 741experiment.com every day to follow on a more personal level with where God has me every day. I am thoroughly enjoying forcing myself to write shorter pieces yet still strive for the same depth. It has been a challenge, but I am loving every minute of it. Check out all the authors on the blog and pass it along to others.

I look forward to more regularly posting come April/May 2011. Until then, Grace and Peace to you.
